Mr. Kuku orders the arrest of ex-militants in Niger delta

The arrest of militants who turned in their weapons have been ordered by Mr. Kingsley Kuku. Special adviser to the President, Goodluck Jonathan. he said those militants who resigned and joined the Joint Military Task Force in the Niger Delta region should be arrested. This recent development is beginning to get alot of people worried about what the outcome might be

In 2009, the rivers and bayelsa state government told militant to surrender which alot of them submitted their guns and all to the JTF in bayelsa state.

Mr. Kuku’s said his reason for passing this order is because till date alot of young boys keep joining the JTF and its beginning to make the JTF populated there by making Government to spend so much on the amnesty program.

The federal Government doesn't really know what decision to make on these as putting a stop to the amnesty program will only endanger the lives of Nigerians and keeping up the program will also make them spend out of budget.

Niger delta region has been in peace for a very long time since federal government started this amnesty program, the rate of kidnap has reduced, the rate of cultism has also reduced and now this new. we've been trying to tackle the Boko Haram issue till date, if this militant continues from where they stopped. Nigeria will not be a safe place at all... this is my own Opinion
