Beyonce Accused of 'Lip-Sync' National Anthem ‘Star-Spangled Banner’

But a spokesman from the Master Sgt. Christian DuBois, said that Beyonce decided to sing a lip-sync.

"We did make some vocals recorded before, and Beyonce decided at the last minute to use the recorded version," says DuBois.

DuBois said that it was ordered in such a way, and they do not know why.

Beyonce also released the earpiece, which is usually used to align the music with vocals, before finishing the last few lines.

Marine Corps immediately denied the statement. They confirmed the cancellation and the use of the tape do not mean Beyonce singing lip-sync. It could be minus-one, only music recording and Beyonce just keep singing directly.

Regardless, reaffirmed, no member of the band who knows if Beyonce sang a lip-sync or not.

Never before in the history of the career of Jay-Z's wife reportedly lip-synching. Until now, there has been no response from the Beyonce.

A spokesman from Kelly Clarkson, who also appeared at the time of the inauguration, said that Beyonce did not sing lip-sync.

This is not the first lip-sync rumors that characterizes a U.S. presidential inauguration event. When performing at the first inauguration of Barack Obama four years ago, cellist Yo-Yo Ma, Whitney Houston admitted to hand-sync. She argued that the instrument will not produce sound plays perfectly in the cold at the time.

For some performers lip-sync is a natural thing. But for Beyonce, lip-sync can affect her credibility.
