Jack Klugman Death: American Actor Dr. Quincy died at the age of 90

Jack Klugman, The actor, known for playing the lead role of the police and medical series "Quincy" for eight years  from 1976 to 1983,  died Monday, December 24 in Los Angeles at the age of 90 years.

Actor, writer and director, JackKlugman died Monday afternoon as noted by the artist's son. "He had a very good life and enjoyed every moment. He always encouraged others to do the same. Loved his son very much. We will continue on this path," said Adam Klugman microphones to The AP.

Heavy smoker who had survived cancer of the throat diagnosed for the first time in 1974, the actor died peacefully at his home in Los Angeles , along with his wife, Peggy, counsel Larry Larson.

Klugman was best known for his character Dr. Quincy, the medical series Quincy and for his role as Oscar Madison in the sitcom The Odd Couple , where he played the lazy roommate Felix Unger played by Tony Randall. He also played for the selected film Oscar, Twelve Angry Men.

Born in 1922 in Philadelphia, Jack Klugman had a busy career, which began after he left the army at the end of the Second World War. The actor is known for playing Dr. "Quincy" in the series of the same title and 148 episodes long. From 1976 to 1983, he has embodied a forensic specialist in Los Angeles working in the police and helping police solve crimes through his analysis of the evidence.

Jack Klugman was also interpreted a sports reporter neglected in the series The Odd Couple (1970)  , which earned him two Emmy Awards , prestigious American television. He also received an Emmy for his role in the series The Defenders .

Throughout a career that spanned six decades, the actor has made many appearances in the series and also starred in several successful feature films as Twelve Angry Men , by Sidney Lumet in which he played one of the jurors.
