The US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton interrupted her Far East tour with President Barack Obama Tuesday and is on her way to Jerusalem and Cairo to try and salvage the stalemated talks for a Gaza ceasefire.
The talks were stalled Monday, when the Egyptian broker President Mohamed Morsi went into mourning for the death of his sister and took time out for the strict  observances of his faith. DEBKAfile: Morsi may have taken advantage of his loss to postpone the breakdown of his mediation effort.
